Feet
on the Ground
Exploring
the built environment with dance and film. F.O.G. enters the
nooks and crannies of Radford, inner city Nottingham. The still
and moving body probes and questions, investigating the potential
of different physical environments and materials. F.O.G. worked
with Radford Primary School to discover more about the area
and the environment of their school. The resulting film, A Radford
Sketchbook was projected outdoors in Radford in January. An
art trail of still images from the film took place during Architecture
Week 2006. Film screenings have taken place at Broadway Media
Centre, Nottingham and Nottingham MArket Square. F.O.G. is part
of Groundwork East Midlands's Creative Regeneration Programme
and was funded by Arts Council East Midlands as part of Architecture
Week 2005 and 2006 and by Nottingham City Council Culture &
Community Board.
